My kids are always asking me to go to the local convenience store to get junk food and the $1 slushies. I'm all for a bargain and a $1 slushie is perfect for my wallet so I don't mind. Keeps the kids happy and it doesn't break the bank.

And in my never-ending quest for fun & unique cocktails, I of course put 2-and-2 together and knew I could make a spiked slushie for the adults. 'Cause why should the kids have all the fun with their blue raspberry, cherry, or cola $1 slushies (and believe me, sometimes they actually put ALL the flavors into one slushie, LOL).
I needed it colorful and fun, so I grabbed some frozen blueberries, the tequila in my liquor cabinet and a few limes.
Don't delay, go right now & grab your ingredients to make this spiked adult treat... and don't forget the blender!!!

2 ounces simple syrup (recipe below)
1 cup frozen blueberries, like Stop & Shop brand
1/2 lime (juiced)
ice
