Blood Orange French Martini Recipe
Updated: Jun 20, 2021
One of the most recognizable attributes of a standard French Martini is the frothy foam on the top after the ingredients have been shaken in the shaker and immediately poured into the martini glass. I LOVE that froth! It means the pineapple juice is in there and I can almost smell the raspberries of the raspberry liquor!

But just what if... what if there was a little "twist" to this classic martini cocktail? It wouldn't be a French Martini without these 3 ingredients: vodka, pineapple juice, raspberry liquor and now....
I've recently been obsessed with blood oranges. They have a beautiful interior color and are less sweet and less sugary to me than regular oranges.
You know how sometimes fruits become trendy for no other reason than someone decided to eat a million of them and just started loving them? Well, that's me, I have been putting blood oranges in EVERYTHING (water, salads...) and now, it's in this FRENCH MARTINI!

You've GOT TO TRY IT -- you won't be disappointed!
Ingredients
1 1/2 ounces vodka
1 ounce pineapple juice
1 ounce fresh blood orange juice (about 1 blood orange)
1/2 ounce raspberry liquor
Directions
Fill a cocktail shaker with ice.
Pour in the ingredients one at a time and shake. Pour into a martini glass.
Garnish with a slice of blood orange!
